Amsterdam native, Le Louche grew up within a Dutch-French Caribbean family on a lot of classical music, pop, soul, funk and jazz. These influences quickly became infused with video game chiptunes and the hip-hop sound of the early 2000s. It's no shock that Amsterdam’s thriving electronic music scene also played an important role in developing his taste in music further, leading him to start collecting vinyl and experimenting with music production. Though, it was not until he moved to London in 2017 that Le Louche and his heavily UK influenced sound became fully defined, leading him to releases on various well-respected labels such as Nuances de Nuit, Daydream Records and Lemaia.
With the upcoming launch of his label with his fellow partner in crime Mehlor, and more releases to be announced, 2023 is looking to be a fresh and music-filled year for Le Louche.
