DJ Lee Clarke has been DJing ever since he was 18 years old when he bought his first ever DJ set-up. Two Technics 1210s and a Newmark mixer. He has always wanted to be a DJ ever since he was at school. His major influence for wanting to be a DJ was when he first listen to Radio 1's Lovegroove Dance Party which was hosted by the legendary Danny Rampling. When all of Lee's friends would be hanging out, he would opt to stay in and listen to Danny Rampling's show every weekend without fail, as well as Pete Tong's Essential Selection. When Lee Clarke reached the age of 20 his first holiday destination was....you guessed it.....Ibiza where he met his all time favourite DJ, Danny Rampling, at Es Paradis, where Danny was playing with Sister Bliss and Timo Mass at a night called 'Together'...His highlight was not only going to see Danny Rampling play but actually meeting the man himself after his set. Danny Rampling happened to be dancing in the room upstairs in Es Paradis after his set so Lee approached him and they got chatting. Since that time, Lee Clarke knew that DJing was his passion. Music was his passion. Lee managed to get residencies at numerous clubs around his home town. His best club being 'DY5' in Brierley Hill, Dudley, because the sound system the club had is one of the best, or 'thee' best sound systems in the world...'FUNKTION ONE'....This club has seen the likes of Judge Jules, Brandon Block, and many more professional DJs grace the decks. Lee Clarke's style of music that he plays is very soulful, vocal and is into his U.S. house and is liking productions from the likes of Hardsoul, Studio Apartment, Stacy Kidd, Kenny Dope, Terry Hunter, DJ Meme, Jasper Street Co and many more. You can now catch Lee DJing at a club called 'The Glasshouse' in Stourbridge at nights such as Freque, We Love Sundays... and Uber, on rotation. He has also got a few other things lined up with other promoters but all will be revealed when all is official...
