Llovers are a 5 piece indie-pop band from the North East of England. Arriving in late 2016, Llovers produce dream driven tracks channelled with unquestionable pop sensibility.
The idea for the band was formed at McDonalds, where David and Jack both worked, as a means to escape the golden arches. Lyrically, Llovers explore the uncertainties of life and love. Their stories and discussions are often purposefully contradictory and focus on how passages in time expose the fickle nature of thoughts and feelings. These lyrics are backed up with tight harmonies and perfectly crafted dreamy soundscapes.
The band have had widespread online support from the likes of NME, DIY, Clash, Dork, The Line of Best Fit and Wonderland Magazine as well as support from Spotify, being added to several of their curated playlists.
NME - "Llovers have laid the foundations of something potentially brilliant. Dead catchy guitar riffs and a really fun vibe. Lots to enjoy here."
DIY Magazine - “With a short string of swooning, shimmering indie-pop gems under their belt, Llovers show no signs of slowing down”
Dork Magazine - " I Don't Mind is a harmony-laden fizzy indie-pop gem that won't fail to make you smile."
Clash - "Fragrant dream pop matching sighing harmonies against those crisp, frost-tipped guitar lines. Perfectly formed."
The Line Of Best Fit "Diving in with twinkling disco ball synths, "A Second With You" is a beautifully decorative ode to the seemingly boundless possibilities of youth."
