Born in rural Central France, Lo grew up in a house full of the singing of her mother and sisters.
In her teens she fell in love with the music of the 1960's folk movement and began performing some of this material with her sister around local bars.
In 1998 she made a sudden decision to move to London and within a few months met a network of mucicians who inspired her to begin writing songs.
Lo established a small band with Martin Brown and recorded 2 albums of her original songs. Around the same time Lo formed 1940s Chanson group Fleur De Paris which are still performing.
Lo was also in the Psychedelic Medieval Prog Rock band Circulus for 5 years recording albums and touring.
She has done many vocal recordings and sessions for other artists such as Cathedral, Mariane Segal, Boo Sher, Monday Club Circus and BBC.
In 2018 Lo appeared in the feature film The Happy Prince with Rupert Everett as well as singing on the soundtrack.
Lo has recently started a new quartet exploring Ye-Ye, New Wave, French Cinema and Swing called 'lo polidoro - non?'
