Since its inception, the Lost Colours project
has gone from strength to strength, after
the creation of their debut album Talking
In Technicolour, Lost Colours have gone
on to play some of the countries biggest
festivals including Bluedot, Kendal Calling,
Secret Garden Party and Bestival, had their
music used to back up Brian Eno’s amazing
Psychedelic visual show, bagged official
remixes for Public Service Broadcasting and
Reverend and The Makers, released their
debut single, had notable support from
BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and also BBC
Introducing resulting in BBC Introducing
labelling Lost Colours their “favourite new
act and declaring 2018 as their yearâ€
May 2018 will see the release of their debut
album which was mixed by Bjork’s musical
director, Damian Taylor (Bjork, Arcade Fire,
Prodigy, Depeche Mode). Damian declared
his profound love for the band and insisted
he was the man to mix the entire album.
As a side project Martin and Howard have set
up a 2 piece show “LC Nightshades†in which
they play remixes of their own music live. A
timeless electronic sound influenced by the likes
of Chemical Brothers, Jon Hopkins and Orbital.
Lost Colours are booked to play several UK
festivals this summer including Blissfields
and Kendal Calling where they’ve been
booked as main support the the Hacienda
Classical Orchestra you can also catch them
out on the road as part of their album tour.
They’re just about to go back in the studio
to put the finishing touches to their second
album which they’ll be working on with one
of the countries’ most respected composers
- Ty Unwin.
