Dj, Producer and A&R, Manuel De La Mare aka Mr Sara Galli is born in Italy in the year 1979 and he lives in Pistoia a little town near Florence, Tuscany.
He begins musical studies at 9 years old, and his passion grows day by day playing guitar, sitar, and, later, keyboards spending thousands hours in jazz, rock & funk bands. In 1997 he starts producing chill out and house performing it live in many clubs. He discovers a new amazing sensation watching people dancing his own music. Here starts his dj career when someone requests to extend live performances with a dj-set. So the music becomes his only occupation: producer in the day time, dj & live in the night.
He continues studying music and gets a degree in Cinema and Musica at Pisa University. During this period Manuel is introduced to Giorgio Canepa a.k.a. GioMBG (9 records owner) by Alex Kenji (a colleague and a friend). Thanks to this, he finally approaches more seriously to electronic music, learning interesting production technique.
Mr Sara Galli nick is born in 2002 when Manuel gets some gigs in the Italian gay club scene. He plays in the last summers for 5 thousands people gay-pride parties and has a dj residency at Mamamia gay disco and beach (Versilia). He also collaborates with Gay.it site for a new online radio.
His music production under this name varies from progressive stuff (Surprise Ep and Diversion EP are been on juno.co.uk top sellers charts for one month) to house (Ian Round Eivissa remix is been featured on beatport.com and considered by Granite and Phunk one of the best remix of the year 2006) to electro house (Tokio/Maximal co-produced with Alex Kenji charted on DMC USA HOUSE for two weeks and is been top sellers in many important shops) to minimal music, a new rising love.
Manuel De La Mare nick is more recent: 2006, beginning with Portamento Records, producing exclusively head-banging electro house tracks. High Voltage, a remix for Yoshie Chandler aka Alex Kenji, is featured on beatport.com and included in San Francisco Lovefest compilation. One of The last works Genesis, signed with Baroque, is been remixed by Shiloh.
In consequence to this various background the dj-sets changes a lot depending on the club nature and the dance-floor needs. De La Mare music is a pumping mix between electro house & techno with some touch of progressive house. While Mr Sara Galli prefers house music for the big room (and big beach as well) or tech house and minimal for little clubs or priveé.
Actually, he collaborates like producer and A&R with some labels (Baroque, 9 Records, Portamento Records, Red Land, Self).
From 2003 Manuel plays for a total of 250.000 people per year during parties and club nights, holding a dj residency at Mamamia (Viareggio), Kitsch (Milano) H20 (Lucca) L-word - only woman nights (Versilia), Hub (Lucca).
