MC Clack Bio
in the beginning..
Referred to as MC Clack or the Clackman what ever takes your fancy, thanks for stopping by my website, I have been into music from an early age but never really found those sounds that make you skip in the mornings until I was introduced to Jungle and Garage when I was about 12. I still remember when my mate got his decs when I was 13 or 14 and its then that I started MC-ing, spitting bars and writing lyrics. I was in and out of the Drum Bass scene for a while but my fire to perform came back when met the elevated bass boys.Life has two rules: #1 Never quit #2 Always remember rule # 1.
“One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.
My main influences in Drum & Bass would have to range across the scene from Stevie Hyper Dee, Shabba D, Mc Det and Skibadee Logan D and Majistrate to DJ Hazard. Always been a lover of grime and hip hop since the early 90s, inspirational artist like 2Pac, Wu-Tang, Method Man Nas and Dr,Dre. In the UK there have been some serious lysits to bless the game that you can’t help but admire both what they did for the UK scene but also what they did for music special mention to Mike Skinner, Stormzy, P Money, Devlin, Kano, Dizzee, Sway, Shakka and Bugzyy to name a few.
To be honest I just love music and you’ll quite often finds me boping away to Sigma or disclosure one minute, then shaking out to some Bad Company, Rat Pack or Ragga Twins set.
also Looking forward to next year !Its a fire and passion that was always there I’m just glad I get to do what I love doing and share it with people.
“Even if you’re on the right track if you just sit there you’ll get run over.”
Had a lot of ups and downs over the years but music and performing is in my bones, Working with Elevated Bass has allowed me to drive forwards as an artist as I look towards the future. Ive had the pleasure of performing on Rough Tempo Radio, Robo MErcenary Radio and Royal DNB radio. I’ve peformed alongside or on the same events as MC Nutcracker, Higher Contrast, Nick Blackmarket, Mc Azza, MC Grima, Funsta, Logan D Domminator and DJ Grooverider. Looking forwards to more challenges and performances as I hone my skills and give back to all those who supported me
