Mike Dawes is an English virtuoso Fingerstyle guitar player known for composing, arranging and performing multiple parts simultaneously on one instrument. His debut single, a cover of Gotye’s ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ went viral instantly, with the likes of Gotye, Beardyman and Andy McKee reposting the video. In the first week of release Mike Dawes received in excess of 1.2 million views. He has been featured in numerous international publications including Guitarist, Acoustic and Acoustic Guitar magazines, and has headlined Tommy Emmanuel’s ‘Tommyfest’ sharing the bill with Gordon Giltrap, Frank Vignola Trio and Tommy Emmanuel himself.
