Misha Bryan (born in Manchester, United Kingdom), better known as her on-stage persona Misha B, is a Mancunian singer who came to prominence as part of The X Factor 2011. Mentored by Kelly Rowland in the 'Girls' group, she drew comparisons to Eartha Kitt, Nicki Minaj and Grace Jones. She was accused of being a bully by judges Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos during the live shows - something she denied, and for which the duo later apologised.
Misha grew up believing that her aunt was her real mother until the age of ten; she has only met her biological mother, a former drug addict, a handful of times and does not know who her father is.
Favourite Food: Jerk chicken and white rice – a hearty Caribbean meal.
Favourite Artist/Musical Inspiration: Big pop artists such as Jennifer Hudson, Nicki Minaj, Tina Turner, Missy Elliot, Mary J. Blige, Beyonce and Michael Jackson.
Never Leave The House Without: Vaseline – perfect for those luscious lips.
