Multi-genre DJ and Producer, M.O.B aka Master of Bassline, has over forty releases under his belt and has appeared on international labels including Audiophile, Molly Records, and 3000 Bass.

Moldovan-born DJ and Producer, Cristian Shearer aka M. O. B (Master of Bassline), has taken musical inspiration from cities all over the world having grown up in Syria, The Netherlands, England, Scotland and, of course, his original home Moldova. From experiencing local Moldovan village discos at a young age to becoming a revered producer and selector, Cris’ musical journey has taken him through multiple genres including Bassline, House, Tech, and Drum & Bass, and built him a loyal fan-base from all across the globe.

With over forty releases under his belt, Cris has appeared on international labels including Audiophile, Molly Records and 3000 Bass. He has broken through the ranks earning support from dancefloor giants including AC Slater, SODF and Aaron Jackson, alongside receiving airplay on BBC Scotland and Trickstar Radio. M.O. B has amassed hundreds of thousands of streams each year.

He has recently supported world Drum & Bass heavyweights Chase & Status on the main stage of Edinburgh’s Woodland Dance Project and has held residencies in venues up and down the Scottish Capital.

A music aficionado through and through, Cris is renowned for building unique sets for every party, and with skilful finesse and versatility behind the decks. He is known for creating a crowd experience as not many others can.

With upcoming releases on Ghetto Ghetto, Low Freqs and G-Mafia Records 2021 is already shaping up to be a big year for this Moldovan upstart, with a busy gigging schedule lined up once lockdown is lifted.
