19-year-old South Londoner, Lucy 'Monki' Monkman discovered her talent for mixing after being let loose on her friend's bedroom decks when she was 17. Primarily driven by all strands of bass music, Lucy defines good music by the reaction it gets when listened to loud. Securing her prime slot on former pirate radio station Rinse FM she was commissioned to play every Saturday from 4pm-6pm. Taking to the challenge as if she'd been born to do it, Monki brought in the listeners and caught the attention of Annie Mac, and is now championed as a prime source for breaking new talent.
