MURSTON BAPCHILD AND THE BRAXTON HICKS are a 4 piece country Honky Tonk band, featuring fiddle, lap steel, double bass, guitar, vocals and harmony vocals.
Their music originates mainly from the country sounds of the 1940s and the 50s, songs popular in the honky tonks, low dives and on the radio stations of the southern states of America. Influenced by the giants of country music such as Hank Williams and Bob Wills
They also include original material and the occasional more modern piece that is appropriate for the style.
