Who is Next State?

From starting out as a simple bedroom DJ at the early age of 17 spinning his first few tunes on vinyl and learning the art of becoming a DJ, Next State now reaches out to the masses and hopes to tour the world expressing his love for music.

Now with over 10 years experience under his belt he feels he can be articulate in his skills and fine tune his selection of music for everyone to hear.

He has played for festivals, local bars and night clubs. Currently he presents and hosts a weekly prime time slot on Select Radio, supporting labels, up and coming artists and well known names in the industry with a 2 show full of all the very best in dance music.

He has has been invited for guest mixes around the globe so far including Ibiza Radio 1, Vibe Nation and Pyoor Radio where he can again share his love for music 

After qualifying with a 1st Class BA Honours in Professional Sound Production he hopes to further his career not only as a DJ but as a producer as well.

After launching his very own personal website and social platforms he hopes that this will give his listeners and fans a place to visit and check his mixes & catch up shows which are regularly uploaded to his SoundCloud & MixCloud pages.

Even though Next State builds himself as a House & Dance DJ he has be known for versatile approach giving him the upper hand when playing out to different crowds with the ability to play anything from Vocal House, EDM, Dance Music, House, Tech House, Techno, Garage & DNB.

Next State’s love of Electronic Music stems from his extensive time living in and touring the Spanish Islands - particularly House music in Ibiza.
