Biography

If you’re a fan of electronic outfit Way Out West, you may or may not be clued up on one of the masterminds behind it: Nick Warren. Hailing from Bristol, a city no stranger to pioneering electronic masters, Nick began his DJ career in the 1990s, becoming one of Bristol’s favourite DJs and producers, with a particular highlight coming when he supported the mighty Massive Attack.

Everything truly changed for Nick in 1994, when his paths crossed with fellow Bristol-based DJ Jody Wisternoff, where their seminal act Way Out West was born. After rising to fame with their 1997 self-titled debut, the duo have since released four further albums with their most recent being 2017’s Tuesday Maybe. Besides his success with Way Out West, Nick is also the brains behind The Soundgarden, his record label and events brand, and heads A&R for Hope Recordings. Nick Warren events certainly aren’t to be missed!

Such a skilled veteran of the electronic dance scene is sure to sell out fast, so make sure that doesn’t happen to you next time you see a Nick Warren tour!
