Nicky Nally is a DJ, promotor and soon to be producing. She started as a teenager listening to Metro tapes (in the ’90s the Metro was an iconic Saltcoats nightclub) and developed a passion for the club scene spending weekends hanging out at the DJ booth watching the vinyl play. Nicky went to college to study DJ Sound Producing and although mainly self-taught on vinyl, she also attended DJ Academy.

Most recent gigs include COMPRESSION - TARTAN TECHNO beside Anne Savage (Edinburgh) and RESPEKT beside TJay, Kritikal Mass and DJ Deekay (Glasgow). Nicky is the promotor of the BOULIE REUNION with her resident DJ’s Trevor Reilly and James Brown recently playing alongside Colin Tevendale and Stevie Kerr (Glasgow). She has also played at the METRO REUNION 9 + 10 playing beside Shades of Rhythm, QFX, Ratpack, Seb Fontaine, Joe Deacon, Billy Reid, Tony Curlett, Gonzo, Paddy Fraser, Paul Norval and Alan Harney. Her first experience playing live, on vinyl, was her own night PASSION with Dream Frequency, Joe Deacon and DJ Vance.

Nicky is a radio DJ with RADIO SALTIRE FM regularly playing to audiences all over the city of Edinburgh. Her Club Essential show is a variety of club scene tunes form the 90’s right through to the 2000s with the ‘Back to Basics’ team.

She is the one to watch and a rising star in the DJ world.
