Biography

Described by PowerPlay Magazine as a “Legendary band”, London’s thrash metal titans Nightlord have been stirring up the sound waves for over 25 years. You may have seen them in recent years performing live with Sepultura, Onslaught, Gama Bomb, Annihilator, and Hell, or back in the early days with Paradise Lost, Skyclad, Korzus, Cerebral Fix and Nocturnus, but either way one thing is certain: if you are an avid fan of old-school thrash metal, Nightlord is a must-have for your collection.

Originally established in 1989, Nightlord have helped to lay the foundations of today’s thrash metal scene, paving the way from their pioneering “Underground Titans Tour ’92”, still hailed by some as the first true underground metal tour, to seemingly even becoming a source of inspiration to their own heroes Kreator and Metallica along the way!
