Noemie is a singer, experimental rock artist, sound designer and film composer. Born in Romandy (French Switzerland), and emigrating to UK as a child, she grew up in London, the diversity and history of which has formed an oasis at the roots of her music.

Her compositions have a quality that have often been described as “transportive” and “hypnotising”, with strong influences from Middle Eastern styles as well as Medieval European chant. Surrounded by blinking electronics and armed with an electric oud or guitar, she is these days accompanied by a cow-skin drum, synthesised drones, pieces of scrap metal and haunting harmonies.
