Biography

Easy people! For those of you who know me personally or who have just seen me online welcome to my artist page. In the following sections you’ll find abit more about myself such as influences, current residencies etc.

Massive shout out to everyone who has supported me so far, it’s been a mad ride & can’t wait to push it further hopefully! Got plenty of new things coming very soon so make sure you keep it locked!

We’ll start at the beginning with my first ever legal rave which was Breakin’ Science at The mighty Coronet Theater (for those who went before it sadly shut down will know how sick this venue was) in Elephant & Castle back in 2013/14 I think it was now! I’d be too a few free parties before this but it wasn’t until the I started going raving out at licensed venues that my love for drum and bass really grew. I’d not long been 18 at this point but I still remember driving my car to the train station with my friends Keith & Dylan to get our tickets and that’s when it got me!!

Hizzleguy - Buddha Cheese. Absolutely blaring out! God, it still gets me gassed up thinking about it, that pure adrenaline rush, the vibe, just how mental we went in the car listening to that tune! TAKE ME BACK!

But jeez, too say I was mashed that night was an understatement, as my mates who were with me will take great pride in telling you how gone I was! (not my proudest moment admittedly)

However if anything that spurred us to really get back into it (knowing what my limits were this time lol). It was then I started regularly going down The Volks in Brighton! Now you will always find me here when there’s a sick night on, such as; Sub-Liminal Recordings, Bass On The Beach, State Of Flo, Strategy & Multi Function just to name a few of them, as well as down Concorde 2 just up the road for the bigger events like Breakin’ Science, Supercharged & Hospitality etc.

Make sure you check them all out especially Sub-Liminal as they gave me my first ever set back at the in February of 2018! I’d be only mixing for about 7/8 months before Agro gave me the opportunity and I will always be proud to represent & support them as he has me. Large up DJ Agro & the rest of the family!

Agro has been a huge influence on me over the years, this man’s mixing is flawless!! Honestly in my opinion one of the most gifted DJ’s on the circuit currently! With a mad selection of dubs and classic’s along with his own signature sound, he will always get a dance-floor bouncing! Been a pleasure getting to know him & building a good friendship over the years and I will forever remain a fan of his unique style.

Another huge influence on my mixing is of course;

“OH DOMINATOR! THE BEAST FROM THE EAST THAT’S DOMINATOR!!”

Rest In Paradise Neil Aldred & my condolences to his family and close friends.

You can’t not like this guy! Some of the biggest tunes in the game in such a short space of time! It honestly kills me that I won’t ever get to see him run set one last time but his presence will forever remain within this scene! The most down to earth and genuine person you’d of ever met, he gave time to everyone he could & it was a pleasure to actually meet him and chat to him for that 5 minutes! It’s a shame we didn’t get to have more but he will forever live on!

It’s not only D’n’B that has influenced me though, UK Garage/Grime & Hip - Hop have been huge influences, with the likes of DJ Luck & MC Neat, Biggie, Tu-Pac, De La Soul, Devlin, Skepta, Wiley etc. I do spin a bit of Old Skool Garage as well (mix soon come). I am always keen to mix different genres just to keep the mind fresh!

I could go on forever about my influences but you’d be here for the rest of time!

That about wraps things up for now! I’d like to thank you if you read through this and hope it was alittle in sight into myself and alittle of what’s to come for the future!

Once again big up every one of you who’ve supported and encouraged me to keep moving forward! I love you all & appreciate every kind word as well as the constructive comments!

Special shouts going to; Agro, Mentah, Guzi, Doyle MC, Kemzie MC, JLMC, Targetz, Audio - Sonic, Bader & many more sorry if I haven’t mentioned you!
