Olly Flavell is a multi-talented songwriting student at ‘British and Irish Modern Music’ with experience across a variety of genres. With diverse influences as a songwriter, Olly seamlessly merges pop and rock nuances to create a slick but soulful sound.Whilst he is only 19-years-old, he has a great deal of musical experience. Supporting Deaf Havana’s James Veck-Gilodi and winning gold at the National World Skills Competition are prime examples. He has performed at many iconic venues such as Brimingham’s Genting Arena, The ICC Symphony Hall and Gorilla Manchester. After releasing his self-penned album in 2015 entitled ‘Lo-Fi’ Olly has enjoyed increasing success with hundreds of physical copies being sold and over 5000 streams on Bandcamp. He has worked with Tim Lord and Ben Newbury, stylist and video director to artists such as James Bay and George Ezra. As a freelance songwriter he’s worked with the likes of Universal Publishing and has worked on compositions for Little Mix. He’s definitely one to watch out for.
