Paddy O’Hare, son of singer Pat O’Hare, started guitar at 18 after trading his cornet. His first guitar came from Uncle Kevin Neill (Karl Denver Trio/The Bachelors) in the late ‘90s. He became a solo artist in 2000, fronted Blue Thatcher/The Valentine Coup, releasing the ‘Wayne/Gentle Surprise’ EP (2006) and headlined Manchester Academy 2. He co-wrote and played lead guitar in Rawcuss, aired on BBC Radio 6 Steve Lamacq. Touring with Fink Ployd UK (2009-2013), he later joined Mike Sweeney (The Salford Jets) to release ‘Walking Down The Line’ EP (2013). They supported Halestorm, Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel, Wishbone Ash, and more. He contributed to Mancana, fronts The Replicants, who played Queen’s “Flash” for Sam J. Jones, and joined ‘70s legacy band Shabby Tiger. He also performs on the cabaret circuit and collaborates in the studio, continuing his diverse musical journey.
