Born from a lack of excitement in various bands, Paresis staggered into some form of existence... then fell over. Several attempts were made to bring this entity online and finally, kicking and screaming it was dragged out of the Peterborian hole it languished in. Paresis combines 'industrial' in the loosest possible sense with EBM, Metal, Goth and a myriad of other influences and ideas to create songs rather than pure dancefloor music.

With influences ranging from Suicide Commando to Gary Numan and My Dying Bride to Rotting Christ, a heady mix of genres winds it's way throughout Paresis.
