Gary Baxter AKA Random Loop Generator began teaching himself to play keyboard at the age of 8 after seeing the video for Herbie Hancock's Rock It on TOTP, eventually going on to play in Herts Indie boppers Spose and Industrial Techno rockers Transworld Siren during his teens before taking front man/vocal duties in Grunge band Derailed. Fast forward 10 or so years and finding himself living Bournemouth, Gary created the Random Loop Generator, taking inspiration from the likes of Orbital and Kraftwerk (among many others). That was almost 20 years ago now and life took many a detour and it's only in the last couple of years that the RLG came out of the shadows. During the first lockdown Gary found himself signed to Swedish label When Disco Goes Wrong and has since provided lyrics and vocals for Mindbender, The Machine Soul and Hogt I Tak as well as continuing to expand on his own unique DIY style, shunning the DAW in favour of a live sound.
