Mixing on vinyl at an early age Recap’s love for EDM began with early Rave & Hardcore, developing a further love for Jungle & Drum & Bass in 94 & 95.

Later in the 90's Recap moved into the UK Garage scene under various guises, made regular appearances on Pirate stations Klass 106.6FM & Force 106.4 FM.

During this time playing out at various venues and events across the South East, including Yabba Dabba Doo at the Pleasure Rooms, Big Fish @ Pacific Edge & the Aquarium, the club with the pool, in London’s Old Street.

Taking a long break to travel, build a career and start a family, Recap picked up a controller in 2015 and fell back in Love again, this time with the House music scene, enjoying most sub-genre with emphasis on Funky House Music/ Disco.

After being offered a breakfast show on FunkySX 103.7FM in October 2020, Recap has not looked back, gaining experience and going from strength to strength, playing out again and enjoying every minute of it !!
