One of the most highly regarded reggae acts in the UK right now, Resonators are proof that the spirit of the original roots sound is alive and well, bringing a modern, fresh edge to the scene.
Resonators released their self-titled debut album in May 2010, with mixes from highly respected producers Nick Mannaseh, Richie Phoe and Darren Mathers. The LP has since received radio and club support from the likes of David Rodigan, Mark Lamarr (BBC Radio 2) and Jstar.
August 2010 saw the release of the single 'Sweet Love Affair' on 7” vinyl on WahWah 45s.
Resonators have gained a reputation for high energy and uplifting live shows, now enhanced by producer/engineer Darren Mathers on the desk, allowing the band to create fully live dub on stage.

“from the driving powerful opener 'Mandrake'....elements are truly beautiful and haunting. In these days of homogenised, digital recordings lacking in any individual sound or identity it is most encouraging to hear something so truly original... most refreshing”
David Rodigan's take on Resonators debut album
"...the originality of this record is impressively crafted. Awesome reggae...an essential purchase"
