Rexwake is the House & Techno project of music producer and DJ Sam Laxton.

The project began in Bangkok, where Sam moved to in the winter of 2018. The hectic and colourful Thai capital was the inspiration for his new musical chapter.

From Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in the UK, Sam moved to Bangkok at the age of 23. By this time he had already solidified his presence in the global Trance scene having weekly support from the likes of Armin Van Buuren & Paul Van Dyk.

His change of location sparked ideas for a new project, taking inspiration from across the entire electronic spectrum. Sam cites the likes of Tale of Us, Adana Twins and BOg as key players in his decision to launch his Rexwake alias. His longer sets crafted to artistic precision are warmly welcomed in a world where music is consumed like fast-food.
