Rob Green is a truly rounded performer. Not only a singer/songwriter, Green is a multi-disciplined artist who connects all aspects of his performance.

Green hails from Nottingham in the East Midlands. Growing up he was surrounded by all genres of music; his mum's jazz, soul and RnB along with his dad's indie, rock and folk records. All of which he has drawn upon to develop his own music and style.

Green was moved by jazz/soul artists, Gregory Porter and India Arie, whose stage performances highlight their songwriting and for him, create a 'living room' environment. As such, Green aspires to make a personal connection with his audience and believes live shows are the best way to do it.
