Roots Sensation started his adventure in music around 2001 in his home town Catania - Sicily.

First step as vinyl collector he soon moved to be a DJ and promoter organising sessions with local sound systems and DJs.

In 2010 he decided to move to London to gain inspiration and understand more about the reggae music culture in UK.

His sets range from deep rare roots reggae, dub, to heavy steppas characterised by the unique use of echos, and siren among his positive and spiritual message on the microphone.

Carrying a varieties of crispy dubplates and own featured productions, his selection is always a great experience full of positive vibes and a warm sound, in a every day research for roots rarities and new productions characterised by heavy bass line, stepping roots drums reef and inspiring conscious lyrics.

As co-founder of "Roots Traders" and "Digital Traders" records labels, he travels looking for old tunes to be released, and meet producers in order to make new connections and new productions in the name of freedom and love for this music culture.

Roots Sensation has hosted many event with several artists and producers like: Blood Shanti, Kibir Amlak, Alpha Steppa (Steppas Records), Kenny Knots, Lord Ambassador Sound System, Empress Shema, Ras Digby, Mighty Prophet, Higher Regions Records, Idren Natural, Ramon Judah, Uk Principal, Shere Khan, Real Roots, Mistical Sound, Royal Sound, Conscious Sounds, Dub Dynasty, Vibronics, King Simeon Sound, Solution Sound, Reality Souljah, Tudor Lion, Hiroshi (Riddim Chango), Chazbo (Roots Temple), Kullar (Roots Youths Records).

"Roots Sensation Sound System" has just been launched in December 2017 and is now the resident sound system for "Roots On The corner" a project born in 2016 with the idea to be a community more than just a music event, a place where producer, DJs, collectors and music lovers meets each other to enjoy the good vibes and make more connections without any barriers.
