Ruth Lorenzo (born 10 November 1982) is a Spanish singer notable for coming fifth in the fifth series of the British version of TV talent show The X Factor in 2008. Ruth is from Murcia, Spain, South East Spain, but is now living in Ashtead, Surrey in south-east England, recording her debut album. At the age of one, Ruth loved the film Annie and would sing along in English, even though she had no idea what the words meant. Her mother nurtured Ruth\'s love of music by playing music and dancing with her.
