Bringing together a refreshing fusion of soul, folk, tribal percussion and harmony, with a voice with a depth and intensity that cuts straight to the core, Samantha Lindo's music is not easily box-able. She is just about to release her first album 'Gateway'.

Her band are made up of 'The Homegrown Collective', a community of Bristol based musicians she founded, who collaborate to perform, write and record each other's music and she also leads 'Girls, Girls, Girls', a London based female-led music night working with women artists around the country to support Orchid, a charity that campaigns to put a global end to female genital cutting.
