Sarah Harrison has undeniably become a respected name over the past year as a female DJ and Presenter. After returning from a European gig with rap legend Snoop Dogg in the summer of 2012, who discovered Sarah's music on SoundCloud, Harrison turned her hustle all the way up by setting out on a spontaneous mission to become the DJ she is known as today. Releasing her first ever mix in October 2012, her passion for Hip-Hop music, particularly the Trap niche, soon gave her the ‘UK Lady of Trap’ trademark, also inspiring the title of her mix CD volumes LadyInTheTRAP.
Throughout 2013, Miss Harrison earned a generous amount of achievements, starting with Host DJ spot on So Solid’s Crew reunion gigs, landing her own show on London’s hottest radio station BANG 103.6FM (every Wednesday 7-10pm) and most recently becoming the Official DJ for Paigey Cakey.
The highlight of 2013 happened when Sarah flew out to the Trap capital Atlanta during the infamous BET Hip-Hop Awards Weekend, where she took to the red carpet alongside some of Hip-Hop’s biggest names. This trip was a huge success for Harrison, hooking up with DJ Holiday and the rest of The Commission camp, finding herself in the the studio with the likes of Drumma Boy and Bangladesh, DJ-ing at the city’s coolest spots like ‘Aurum Lounge’ and ‘Harlem Nights’, plus brushing shoulders with the Kings of the South Ludacris and T.I.
