Sean is a young prodigy hailing from south Wales who proved his mettle as a DJ / Producer with a juicy slice of hot buttered, soulful house A Little More Love featuring Adeola Ranson. At the age of 25, Sean has not only already produced and remixed for the prestigious King Street Sounds, Strictly Rhythm, Soul Heaven, and Z Records, but he has also played at the Soul Heaven’s 10th Anniversary at the Ministry of Sound and twice at the highly respected festival Southport Weekender.
A remix discography that includes artists such as Donae'o, Dennis Ferrer, Quentin Harris, Stephanie Cooke, Todd Terry and Barbara Tucker to name a few; Sean’s talents have attracted the attention of many music luminaries including the likes of Tony Humphries, Joey Negro, Phil Asher, and John Morales.
In 2011 Sean also had the honour of compiling and mixing the 2nd in King Street Sound's new mix series titled 'A Soulful House Journey' which saw big support and reviews from the likes of Billboard mag, Tillate mag, Hippie Torales, Tony Humphries, Groove Assassin, and The UDM Show.
It was in 2002 that Sean’s production ability was first noticed; having teamed up with Justin Stride (Black Sonix) and Phil Evans, Sean was swiftly inducted into the Southern Divide production team which went on to found the Mountain Records label, aided and guided by Alex Winter, Dave Jones and ‘Galaxy / Vibe FM’ legend Deli-G.
Barely old enough to consider entering a nightclub, releases on Mountain, Device Records, Soulfuric Deep and Fluential put Sean in the music industry spotlight and fuelled his passion for music that we now see coming further to fruition.
Charting his ‘mentor’ Deli G and Danny Rampling’s Love Groove Dance Party as inspirations, you can see the rich knowledge that Sean has acquired over the years, developing a musical palette far beyond his years. Artists such as Karizma, Louie Vega and Tony Humphries have provided McCabe with the desire to replicate his hero’s not only in the studio, but also in the DJ booth.
