Seventh Son were originally a NWOBHM band formed in 1980 but gradually the band have evolved throughout their 35 plus year history.
They now play what they consider to be intelligent heavy metal that still takes a leaning towards classic rock. Influences now come from the tastes of all members of the band and they have developed a heavier style that retains melodic quality and a more modern sound than their early work
