SHVPES are fast becoming one of the most hotly talked-about young metal acts in the UK. Hailing from Birmingham, the five-piece have witnessed the rise and rise of the SHVPES name since the release of the debut EP, The Prosecutor.
Despite the fact that the band are yet to release their debut full- length, SHVPES are already live veterans, having supported the likes of Finch and Fightstar at the prestigious Brixton Academy, as well as their rock peers Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine, Young Guns, Memphis May Fire, 36 Crazyfists and Crossfaith. The band are no strangers to the festival stage either, having played the likes of Download Festival, Slam Dunk, Takedown, Radstock and Hit The Deck.
SHVPES' almost self titled 'Shapes' single was the first to feature new vocalist Griffin Dickinson, propelling the band to new heights, including securing airtime on BBC Radio 1 and Kerrang! Radio and being hailed 'The New Kings of the UK Metal Scene' by Kerrang Magazine. The band's new single 'State Of Mine' sees SHVPES dive into new territory, creating much anticipation for their debut album, which will be released through Search and Destroy Records / Spinefarm.
Watch out – SHVPES are about to become a household name in rock.
