“The best deep, funk ‘n groove you’ve never heard” - Si Hardy was born in Essex in 1969; his passion for music started from the very young age of 10. Throughout his growing up years and beyond Simon has amassed a music collection that anyone would be proud of. Si has always enjoyed a vast array of different music genres starting with his initial love of two-tone, jazz and funk to his more recent influences of electronica and deep house as well as South African ‘house’ and broken beats.

Si Hardy started his career as a DJ just two years ago in 2019. Following a regular stint of playing at numerous house parties, he was eventually spurred on to “play out” on the club scene by his local fellow DJ friends, who have also been instrumental in getting Simon to play alongside them at local Essex club nights including Chris Powell’s renowned “Sun of a Beach”.

Si Hardy regularly likes to explore his diversity of music, whiling away the hours searching for different sounds and he guarantees to bring a unique vibe to his sets, often introducing music that may not have been heard before, but that will guarantee to get you on the dance floor and leave you wanting more. Do not underestimate Si’s ability to get the crowds going, he may just be starting out his career as a professional DJ, but he always delights everyone with his wonderful music vibes.

More recently Si has formed ‘The Wisemen’ and he has held several events at The Boatyard on the Deck, Leigh on Sea during the summer of this year as well as playing for ‘Belessa Management & Promotions’ at several of their private parties and promotional events. Si Hardy finished off the year at ‘Sun of A Beach’ for their New Year’s Eve Special event. To kick off the 2022 season Si Hardy played at the Belessa Club Night Pre-Launch event in January and is set to join the Belessa brand for some of their future events, the next one being at The Warehouse Bar in Benfleet, Essex on 11th June. What lies ahead for the rest of 2022 for Si Hardy well, he has plans to take his brand 'The Wisemen' forward, so watch this space for future events. He is also booked to play at the Paphos Beats Festival in Cyprus in November.
