Something incredible is brewing in the seaside town of Bournemouth, a buzz so strong you can feel it pulsating from the other side of the world! That buzz is coming from Small Talk, an indie band flying the flag for a whole new generation of guitar-driven pop music.
When frontman Ben Lewis and drummer Harry Whitton joined forces in the summer of 2021 during lockdown, they instantly meshed their musical influences together to create a sound that they knew was right. With ethereal guitar riffs, catchy hooks and euphoric melodies, Small Talk's songwriting has a level of maturity that you wouldn’t expect from a band with all of its members being in their early 20s. With the addition of lead guitarist Mickey Golicher and bassist Rob White, Small Talk have made a name for themselves with their energetic live shows and busy social media presence.
Despite only releasing their debut single in early 2022, Small Talk have already packed out venues across the UK on their own headline tour and sold out the physical copies of their debut EP "Teenage Fear" within 20 hours.
You can picture the scene. 1000s of people, arms aloft, screaming every single lyric. This feeling has been etched into the DNA of Small Talk.
