Biography

Singer/songwriter Terry Guy, from south-east London’s Peckham, began composing music on the piano aged 14 and started writing songs on the guitar after leaving college. His song writing fuses IndiePop and Folk into a dramatic, emotive style reminiscent of a meeting of his musical idols PJ Harvey, Chris Isaak, Hole, Tori Amos, Skunk Anansie, and Sinead O’Connor.

Vocally, Terry Guy has been compared to Michael Stipe, Tracy Chapman and Brian Molko as he sings about homophobia, media pressure on women, homelessness, domestic abuse, alcoholism and the London Riots 2011.Terry Guy is currently performing on the London music circuit. His EP "Bring On The Fire," is scheduled for release on The Animal Farm, on April 29th.
