The Blacklist formed in early 2016 after meeting during the fresher’s week at university in London, where they are all studying music. Following a couple of line-up changes during the first year, they are Oskar (Vocals), Marco (Bass), Josh (Drums), Kim (Guitar/Synths) and Huw (Guitar). After performing two of the tracks from their upcoming EP at the O2 Academy, Islington and the O2 Forum, Kentish Town, they are now currently working on finishing their self-titled debut EP, which is going to be released on the 31st May. Alongside this, The Blacklist are hosting an EP release party at Notting Hill Arts Club on the 31st May. Tickets are available here.

With a shared love of hard rock music, the band was quickly formed with the vision of creating something fresh and exciting. From there, the focus then fell on merging together their heavier influences with a more modern, electronic sound.

Since having performed at the O2 venues in Spring 2016, work then began on writing songs throughout the rest of the year for their debut release. With the finished product getting ever closer, they are getting excited to tour and promote the EP this summer and autumn. ​
