A 4-piece Edinburgh based fresh indie/alternative rock band that takes inspiration from Oasis, The Stone Roses, Courteeners, The View and The Libertines.
They are a band who have burst onto the Edinburgh music scene, being described as Jim Gellatly as a "great wee band". Lewis Lawler, an Edinburgh filmmaker, described them as having a "fresh indie sound".
Prentice Robertson, lead singer and guitarist in skyrocketing Edinburgh indie/pop band Vistas said "They are full of high energy and sweaty gigs. If you're into The View or The Libertines you should listen to them and head along to their gigs."
And added "the most crazy I've seen a crowd go for an unsigned band."
The Bright Skies are here to stay and are currently working on new material to release in 2018.
