The Chase are a four piece band from Manchester. Frontman Stephen Scott is responsible for rhythm guitar as well as vocals, with Stephen Costelloe (bass), Lennox Fontana (lead) and Dave Shortt (drums) completing the lineup. The Chase play regular gigs in and around the city of Manchester, but gigs outside of Manchester are becoming more regular and have included Liverpool, London and Birmingham. The wealth of live experience the band has attained has resulted in The Chase moulding themselves into an irresistible live act playing good, honest and exciting music
The Chase find inspiration in a number of sources and the dynamic of the band is such that all members are allowed to express their musical tastes, enabling them to incorporate influences form genres old and new, including Motown, Folk, Punk, Rock n’ Roll and Indie.
