The Doubtful Guest are a band of musicians that choose to play songs of a country, folk, blues and rock persuasion.
They began making music together in their current formation in late Oct 2003 but the roots of the band can be traced to mid February 2002 when songwriter Andy Hill and long time friend Matt Prescott began collaborating on folk songs inspired by their mutual love for Dylan, Young, Simon and early bluesmen.
During their time they have played Glastonbury festival multiple times, toured across the UK and supported such talented fellow musicians as Josh Ritter, Kimya Dawson and Arthur Brown.
They have independently released one album and a series of EPs since 2005 and continue to write and record the music that comes when it's ready.
They live in small but comfortable homes in Bath with their beautiful, patient women.
