The Magnetic Mind were formed in London in 2011 by singer Ellie Foden and former Hidden Masters bassist Paul Milne. Taking inspiration from the likes of Shocking Blue, Los Brincos, The Seeds, and The United States of America, they set about crafting a sound that drew upon the aesthetics and sensibilities of late 60s/early 70s psychedelia with the infinite sonic possibilities of modern technology.
On the way, they joined forces with drummer Carlos Redondo, guitarist Aaron Brookes, and most recently Lysergics organist Sarah Lou. They recorded their debut 7" single with White Stripes/Tame Impala producer Liam Watson, which was released on Heavy Soul Records, home of The Strypes, The 45s, and The Romleys.
