The Slumdogs are an English rock band, formed in 2015. Elliot Gaspar, Bobby Glaister and William Easton formed the band with ex-guitarist Cameron Redfern. Hailing from Blackpool, Lancashire, the group are best known for early singles 'Nightmare' and 'Cut The Conversation Short'. The band have since released an EP with Gary Powell's (The Libertines) record label 25 Hour Convenience Store, entitled 'Where's Your Sanity?' (recorded and produced by Gavin Monaghan). After deciding to leave the label and take a break for a few months, The Slumdogs returned with a new single, 'Brainwashed'.
In 2019, the band saw to continue without Redfern as they embarked with a new line-up, leading to a colourful change in their sound. Elliot Gaspar joined Bobby Glaister front and centre, showcasing their vocals, piano and guitar playing side-by-side. The change helped push the exciting duo, continuing to travel in their songwriting endeavours, alongside bassist William Easton.
As a new decade begins, there is a sense of drive from The Slumdogs as they announce the release of a brand new single, 'Walmsley Road', along with a headline show in their new hometown of Manchester, England.
