After the recent passing of The Sums lead guitarist Lee Watson tributes have come flooding in from far and wide to pay their respects to the much loved character that Lee was. The band are set to continue on there musical journey and have begun working on new tracks for there next studio album which will be in loving memory of Lee.
For the up and coming gigs the band had booked they have drafted in guitarist and long time friend ‘Richy Northcote’.
As sad as its been, things must continue, they will never be the same but this is how Lee would want it, the music matters to us all, and he will forever be a part of the music we create.
The Sums changed their name from Smaller to The Sums in 2005; and have just released their 2nd studio album titled ‘Start at the Finish’ which has been fantastically received by the music press and of course the bands loyal following.
They are a 4 piece experimental/indie/rock band from Liverpool, UK.
Fronted by legendary singer songwriter Peter ‘Digsy’ Deary, also known for his friendship with Noel Gallagher and also having a song wrote in his name by Oasis – ‘Digsy’s Dinner’ from their debut album Definitely Maybe, and also name checked on ‘Be here now’ the title track from another album by Oasis.
