Fiercely independent Macclesfield rock band The Virginmarys might just be the band that puts guitar music back on the radar.
Their inclusion as a headliner of an HMV Next Big Thing gig is just the latest reward for the band's dedication to playing live, having already spent two years solidly touring Europe with the likes of Slash, Skunk Anansie and Ash, alongside appearances at Download, Sonisphere.
Debut EP - Cast The First Stone - enjoyed ‘single of the week’ on both iTunes USA and UK going on to then receive ‘Best Breakthrough Rock Artist’ on the iTunes USA Rewind end of year polls.
Radio support thus far has included KTV, Kerrang Radio, Xfm, SCUZZ TV, Planet Rock Radio and BBC 1’s ‘Breakfast’ show.
