Slough born singer songwriter and camper van dweller Tom Dibb has just completed his first full-length record at Bedfordshire's Grand Chapel Studios. Following an epic musical adventure that took Tom from London to Melbourne overland, the musician has created an LP that speaks of his unique experiences during his 18 months on the road.
After years of meticulous planning, preparation and fundraising, Tom drove away from the Big Smoke in his trusty 1989 VW T25 camper van, Pickle. With the view to gain valuable insights and inspirational experiences while delivering his music to a global audience, Tom set off on a 35,000-kilometre voyage that took him through some of the wildest landscapes imaginable.
Tom’s influences include the John Butler Trio, Bob Marley and Counting Crows, and he has been compared with Jack Johnson, Newton Faulkner and Bedouin Soundclash though with a distinctive alt-country edge.
