My name is Tom Quinn, Ive been DJ'ing since I was 14 when I got my first set of decks. As soon as I got to grips with playing music and mixing it, that's when i knew this is what I would love to do with my life.
Turning 17 I had been DJ'ing in my Bedroom and a local youth center for about 3 years. I was then given a chance for a warm up DJ set in a club called Bonkers on Liverpool's Mathew Street. From here I had my first residency at the age of 17. This then gave me a chance to progress from Bonkers into several other clubs around the city. At 18 I had Picked up several residency's including Koco, BaaBar and also PanAm. Recently I also participated in Liverpools GBar DJ Competition, and out of many hopefuls I came third, this has been one of my high points so far and really gave me that boost I needed. From this I also landed several sets at GBar along side regulars Andy Mcgrath, John Hooper and Anton Powers in the Bassment.
Just recently turning 19, I am continuing to get my music out there and hoping more and more people enjoy what I love doing. DJ'ing along side Liverpool's biggest DJ's such as Lee Butler and Anton Powers to name a couple just increases my need to succeed in the business. If your looking to find me DJing around the city, you can catch me at Pan Am (Albert Docks) Koco (Concert Square) Privilege (Duke Street) and also occasionally GBar (Eberle Street) and Navy Bar (Stanley Street).
I have worked with so many nice and very talented people so far and wish to continue working with them. I hope to spend a season in Ibiza soon, it will be a great experience to DJ over on the white isle.
