Biography

Are you ready world? Pop music just got cuter, sexier and a helluva lot more bratty! Town Bike are four kids from Merseyside on a mission to reclaim the dancefloor from po-faced indie characters and miserable emo scenesters, and this is the opening salvo of their attack. Janey (Bass) and Sarah (Vocals) met on the beer-sodden floors of Liverpool's diy punk community, and repulsed by everyone else's apparent commitment to utter tedium, they formulated a plan to form the ultimate pop band - one that would combine the play-dumb dynamism of three chord punk, with instant hooks and a 'fuck you' attitude. Now expanded to a four piece, the release this 7" EP. "When Good Kids Go Bad" is the sound of of Belinda Carlisle and Adam Schlesinger blowing kisses and throwing knives at The Ramones. From storming opener "Bad Girls" to the sense of escapism of "Ally Sheedy", this EP has it all. Hugely melodic, effortlessly catchy and instantly classic, every song will set up residence in your head and refuse to budge. Also featured are "Trouble Fucken Rocks", a tale of rebel teen lovers on the road, and "Dougie", and ode to the bands favourite member of guitar-toting boy band McFly.
