They make 'Music that appears out of nowhere. Little individual contributions become clever cohesive compositions.'
VETO hail from Aarhus in Denmark. A shared love of pre-programmed electronic rhythm and unrestrained rock energy allow the five-piece to create anthemic songs, built up of edgy, rhythmic guitar riffs led by the melodic vocals of Troels Abrahamsen proclaimed by critics to have one of the most significant voices on the Danish rock scene.
Front man and producer Troels and the rest of the band has managed to twist the project into so many different sounds that its hard to keep track of what they are doing next. Debut album 'There’s A Beat In All Machines' was an interesting, progressive electro-rock album, their second; 'Crushing Digits' focuses more on the dance genre and triumphs in every way possible introducing VETO to the world. This year now sees the release of their third and grander effort yet in 'Everything is Amplified'. VETO has loosened up and has created an album that is significantly more open and calm than it’s tight and strenuous predecessor.
This summer VETO embark on a mission. They come to the UK for a special run of dates hoping to make a statement of intent. This is a band built for arenas.
