Born in Madrid at the beginning of the eighties, Victor Santana works

as dj, producer and manager his own label Chaval records. Grown

under the musical influence of hip hop, jazz, funk and reggae, and

soon after by early techno, his musical debut starts as a child,

playing his first Casio mini keyboard.

Profesionally his career starts in 1999 playing techno vinyls and

creating The Park collective, organisig parties in the Madrid area,

sharing decks with dj's as Marco Carola, Mistress Barbara,Jim

Masters, Adam Beyer, Oliver Ho, James Ruskin, Regis or the 65 D

Mavericks amongst others.

After some time promoting parties all over the country, he decides to

focus on music production, starting sound design studies and buying

his first synthesizers with Detriot techno as the main influence.

In 2004 Chaval records was born, with the aim of releasing analog

machine made music as a fight against the digital era. Focused on

the physical side of music, releases only vinyls and Cd, being Victor

the personal distributor of the message, travelling over the world

selling his records directly to record stores, from Berlin to Detroit through

Amsterdam or Chicago, receiving awesome feedbacks from key

players in the scene.

Now his main activity is to prepare an all hardware live set plus live

musicians, adding Sax, Cello, violins, piano & rhodes and continuing

spreading his analog message all over the techno world.
