His jazz performance style is built upon a London street vibe reflecting Reggae, Funk, Hip Hop and soul. Vidal's bass has been the driving force behind a plethora of artists like Courtney Pine OBE, Denys Baptiste, Carleen Anderson, Steve Williamson, Maxi Jazz ( Faithless) Orphy Robinson, Jean Toussaint, J-life, Julie Dexter, JazzXchange, Robert Miles, Nathan Haines, Imaani (incognito), Tony Kofi, Rob Gallagher ( Two Banks of Four) and Talvin Singh etc.
